Join the Choir

 

Welcome to the choir!

Do you enjoy singing and maybe you already have some choir experience? Then this is the right place for you.

We are a large choir of about 150 to 170 people and we are especially looking forward to tenors, high sopranos and low basses. However, you are always welcome to join us - independent of the voice you are singing.

We take in new members by the beginning of each semester. If you would like to join, there is just a short and private audition to be passed, for which a date can be booked via this handy tool. If no free dates are left, you can put yourself on a waiting list. It is not uncommon that more dates become available during the audition period. If not, you will be among the first to be notified about the audition dates of the following semester.

After rehearsal, many of us like to go out to a local pub to enjoy socialising. Our experience shows that this is the best way to get to know each other.

To cover the costs we charge a membership fee of 25€ per semester. If there is an out-of-town rehearsal weekend, we charge another 35€. Not included are furthermore costs associated with sheet music, which vary depending on the programme (ca. 10-15€).
